Grief support

The Secular Fellowship is currently engaged in setting up Grief Support Groups throughout Scotland.

Although the Secular Fellowship is strictly a non religious organisation, the Grief Support Groups are open to anyone who has been bereaved and who feels that a modicum of support from others who have been, or are still, in the same situation could be of help.

We currently have a group who meet privately on Thursdays between 5.30pm and 7.30pm in the Carnegie Library, Ayr.
(phone 07935 272723). Please do not hesitate to come along and find out for yourself if our group can be the sympathetic and practical assistance you might be looking for.

Membership is absolutely free and no one will be looking for ‘contributions’. Our Grief Support Groups are not a grief counselling service but simply a group of people who share a common distress that can frequently be relieved by simple help from others in the same situation.
